Mr. Yao has over 30 years of pharmaceutical research and development experience with extensive knowledge in organic synthesis, enzyme catalysis, antibody development, advanced instrumentation, GMP manufacturing and regulatory filing. He has published over 40 scientific papers and more than 20 patents. He leads multiple complex generics and several new drugs development. He founded several biotech companies including Alphamab - a Hongkong stock exchange listed biotech company.

Ms. Firdous brings over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with deep expertise in Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Business Development. She leads the company’s strategic growth, regulatory initiatives, and commercial expansion across key markets.. Her leadership has played a vital role in building strong regulatory frameworks, drive innovation, and align regulatory excellence with business goals advancing the company’s mission of improving healthcare outcomes across the region.
Obaid AlZaabi
Strategy Consultant
Obaid AlZaabi is an Emirati professional with a background in economics, international trade, and pharmaceutical investments. He began his career at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, later joining G42 to focus on cross-border investments in pharmaceuticals and technology.
At Hayat Biotech—a joint venture between Sinopharm and G42—Obaid leads global projects, such as the one in Kenya, ehere he manages the development of a major vaccine production facility. He has worked on regulatory strategy, market expansion, and public-private partnerships across emerging markets, with a focus on building pharmaceutical capacity in Africa.
His experience also includes launching pharmaceutical products and strengthening regional supply chains through distribution, registration, and investment planning.
